AS SEEN ON CNN

"Politics and UFC Fighting Mix at White House Tonight" – Nicolò Dominick appeared live on CNN as a Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, analyst and author of the book INTO THE CAGE: RISE OF UFC NATION (Random House).

Nicolò broke down the intersection of archetypes in media, politics, and combat sports live on CNN This Morning: expaling that the relationship between the UFC and and Donald Trump might seem perplexing, until viewed from this paradigm.

Whether dissecting martial arts strategy for major news networks, or teaching meditation and wellness at private retreats, or speaking on peak performance in the corporate world, Nicolò bridges the gap between ancient mastery and modern execution.

BIOGRAPHY

THE WARRIOR-SCHOLAR

Nicolò Dominick is a rare breed: a two-time Black Belt World Champion Jiu-Jitsu Athlete, a practicing attorney, and MBA graduate. By combining the razor-sharp analytical mind required for law and business with the physical and mental testing ground of world-class combat sports, he has decoded a universal framework for peak human performance. A lifelong meditator, he has studied a range of esoteric mental techniques with masters in Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and India.

Five years ago, he moved from Newport Beach, California to Monreale, a small village in Sicily, where his grandfather was born, and his ancestors (on both sides of his family) lived for a millennia. He didn’t speak the language and through email knew only his great aunt. Yet, he felt the ancestral pull, so he follwed his heart, immersed himself in the culture and forged a new home. One exciting benefit: while living a rustic Blue Zone lifestyle, the health results shocked him to such a degree that he wrote The Zen Protocol in order to pass along the transformative knowledge.

Nicolò writes actionable books for those seeking to master their minds, optimize their bodies, and find stillness amidst chaos.

THE

BOOKS

THE INFINITE TAO: A Non-Dual Translation of the Tao Te Ching for Modern Seekers

  • Moving beyond rigid structures to achieve fluid excellence, The Infinite Tao translates the Tao Te Ching into a modern playbook for corporate leaders, athletes, and anyone operating in a high-stress environment. It explores how to increase adaptability, conserve energy by minimizing mental movement, and strike with precision when the opportunity arises.

The commentary after each chapter provides a roadmap for readers, helping them to develop crystalline mental clarity, clear subconscious blockages that impede performance, improve focus and discipline, and cultivate intuitive calm in the midst of chaos.

ANGLES &

SEGMENTS

Nicolò is a seasoned media personality. He has appeared on national news shows, video podcasts, reality television, and even acted on the dramatic series Kingdom. Hosting audio and video podcasts for over a decade, Producers and hosts can utilize Nicolò for highly engaging, counter-positioned, fast-paced segments, including:

  • Excellence & Performance Under Fire: Simple, tactical mindfulness practices from The Zen Protocol and The Infinite Tao to handle extreme stress and public pressure.  As a winning competitor and coach to elite athletes, he has worked with leading sports psychologists and Tao & Zen masters in learning how to excel in high-stakes environments.

  • Eastern Practices to Counter Anxiety and Self-Doubt: As a lifelong meditator, as well as meditation and breathwork teacher, he is an authority on employing Eastern esoteric practices to calm anxiety and develop unshakable calm in the midst of chaos.

  • A.I. & Fluid Leadership in Unpredictable Markets: His workshops focus on forging an unshakable state of internal calm, and also learning how to flow and pivot when high-stakes business environments shift. Like a martial artist in battle, executives must detach from prior convictions and plans, thus abandoning sunk costs in order to gain a panoramic perspective—then strike. This is THE critical skill in the new normal that is our rapidly shifting A.I. landscape.

  • The Worrying State of Young Men: He has taught young men martial arts for nearly a decade, so he intimately understands their issues, and can speak on topics such as: rising loneliness, the disturbing rise of fascism among young men, and their checking out of the dating world.

  • Current Events Commentator: A former Vice Media columnist, he provides expert commentary on fitness, peak performance, culture, combat sports trends, and their intersection with mainstream media and politics. As a Sociology undergrad, he focused on media theory the manipulation of the masses.

  • The Tao of the Boardroom: Fascinating angles on how corporate executives can use ancient martial arts strategy to out-negotiate and out-maneuver competitors (perfect for business and leadership podcasts), and also avoid executive burnout.

  • Anti-High Protein Diet & Reliance on Pharmaceuticals: He cuts against the current cultural trend in that he advocates building muscle without high-protein diets and/or TRT (steroids)—no matter the age. Instead, he advocates relying on the transformative benefits (mental, emotional & physical) of ancient Zen and Taoist esoteric practices, and basic wholesome nutrition.

  • The Great Lie that is ‘AGE’: At 58 years old, he spars hard every day with elite 20 year old athletes.  Many years ago, from a Taoist master, he learned that with simple practices that enhance rather than deplete life energy (meditation, 20 minute walks, 14 minute workouts, 10 minute yoga, etc.) anyone at any age can greatly extend their healthspan.

  • Legal & Political Analysis: A licensed attorney, he worked closely on the 2010 U.S. Senate campaign for Chad Christensen (R), a childhood friend from Las Vegas. He is progressive, and living in Italy provides him an informed viewpoint on the U.S. vs European mindset and safety-net.

  • Turbocharging Productivity: How to balance rigorous intellectual  and creative careers (Law/MBA/Writing/Teaching) while engaging in intense physical pursuits.

  • Pros and Cons Following the Dream and moving to a Foreign Country: Many dream of packing up and leaving everything behind for a foreign country, but nothing can prepare you for the hard realities and incredible adventures. Living in Sicily, he can speak first-hand about navigating a foreign bureaucratic maze, learning a new language, the kindness of strangers, and the amazing food.

  • The Importance of STORY in Unlocking Life Transformation: Personal stories can fuel success, or they can limit results. Objectively mapping our stories, then consciously rewriting them, is the key to transformation. This is the crux of The Zen Protocol.
